Sponsor Intel vs Spouse Visa Helper
Quick answer
Sponsor Intel’s Ask is a free beta that answers questions about any UK visa route: it fetches GOV.UK guidance and explains it with quotations you can check. Spouse Visa Helper’s answers are about the spouse and partner rules only, each linked to the GOV.UK page it comes from and to the documents on your list, alongside a free tracker for the documents themselves.
Both answer questions about the rules for free, with the official source attached. Sponsor Intel covers every route and is mainly a site for sponsored jobs; Spouse Visa Helper answers spouse visa questions next to the list of documents you’re gathering.
Prices and features checked 7 November 2026, as published on Sponsor Intel’s own site.

Where Sponsor Intel is stronger
- It answers questions on every UK visa route, not only spouse and partner visas.
- It watches selected GOV.UK pages every 15 minutes and fetches them as you ask; we recheck every page we rest on once a week.
Where Spouse Visa Helper is stronger
- Free, with no account needed to start: seven answers and the list is there.
- Each document has a status and its own requirements to tick, so you can see what’s done, what’s to check and what’s left.
- Every date window is worked out from your apply-on date, such as the latest payslip dated 28 days or less before you apply.
- A week-by-week plan to your apply-on date, with a calendar file of it, and the whole cost including your own figures.
- A numbered index for the top of the bundle, a guide to which documents each part of the online form draws on, and a last check before you submit.
- Each document made into one PDF in the index’s order, shrunk to the upload page’s size limit, in your browser; or the whole bundle as one PDF whose index links to each document.
- Questions about the rules answered free, with GOV.UK’s own wording word for word and the documents on your list it’s about.
- An email when a rule or figure changes, such as the December 2026 changes to settlement.
- Answers are about the spouse and partner rules and point to the documents on your own list.
- Each official quote is checked every week to still be on its page word for word, and you can get an email when a rule changes.
